About me

I am born as Susanne Melanie Lutz in Heilbronn, Germany, in 1968. From the beginning, I am equipped with a portion of curiosity and intrepidness, a keen sense of observation and the desire to try things out..

In my favorite childhood memories, I see myself sitting on my friends the trees, looking at the world from above, feasting on their fruits and our non-verbal communication.

After graduating from high school in the late 1980s, I study mechanical engineering. This stems from the desire to comprehend the world I live in and learn how everything precisely interacts and functions. I am motivated to contribute to the protection of nature and the environment by developing renewable energy technologies. Additionally, statements like, “…this field of study is not suitable for women…” are absolutely unacceptable to me.

I start working in the family business of an environmental architect. My interest in healthy living spaces, healing for humans and Mother Earth is sparked, nourished, supported and strengthened during this phase.

And I am increasingly drawn southward, to Portugal.

I decide to live on the Atlantic coast. Here amidst nature, in one of the most sparsely populated areas of Europe, enlivened by the warmth of the Portuguese people, I find a new home. I feel inspired to paint the world as I see it. The natural landscapes and their architectural elements, the skies energies, a wild mix of natural forces and matter.
